In Loving Memory of Thomas B. Larsen
Thomas B. Larsen
February 15, 1936 – August 11, 2023
Mr. Thomas B. Larsen, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away at 87 years old. Born on February 15, 1936, in Williston, North Dakota, to Lyman Clarence Larsen and Lucille Melba Blair, he grew up in Williston and attended Palmer High School. A dedicated Army veteran, Thomas served in Korea before embarking on a career as a drywaller.
Thomas had an eclectic array of hobbies that kept him engaged in life. He was a trap shooting enthusiast, and his green thumb flourished in his love for gardening. Whether on the golf course or by the waterside with a fishing rod, Tom found solace in the great outdoors. His spiritual bond with the Lutheran church further reflected his connection with the world around him.
Known for his quick wit and light-hearted teasing, he had a unique way of bringing a smile to everyone’s face. He cherished his friendship with Gene, Carol & Danny Blessing, Richard & Anita Warner, Tammi & Curt Lenning, who remained his closest companions throughout life.
Tom’s sense of humor was a cornerstone of his personality. Fond memories of lively conversations and unforgettable pheasant hunting trips, filled with competitive banter among brothers Tom, Larry, and Gene, continue to bring laughter to those who shared those moments.
Leaving behind his cherished friends, Thomas will be remembered for his infectious laughter and his ability to turn ordinary gatherings into memorable events. To honor his memory, the family kindly requests donations to the macular degeneration Organization in lieu of flowers.
In the tapestry of life, Thomas B. Larsen’s threads were woven with laughter, camaraderie, and a zest for outdoor adventure. His presence will be greatly missed, but the stories and shared moments will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
