In Loving Memory of Torri Laing

Torri Nichole Laing, age 33, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Peyton, Colorado.  She was born on December 4, 1985 in Boulder, Colorado to Thomas Allen Laing and Kimberly Susan Meadows.  Torri spent her early childhood years in Boulder, Colorado. She is a true Colorado native.  However, her family moved to Rome, Georgia while she was a girl and that is where she graduated High School.  Soon after graduating from Model High School, Torri made her way back to Colorado.  The Mountains were always calling her home. She soon attended Front Range Community College as well as Westwood College upon her return.

Torri eventually moved to Peyton, Colorado where she made her home with Mark Nicholes. The two created a loving home and focused on raising her two beloved children Cameron and Savannah. One of Torri’s favorite things, outside of being a stay at home mother, was working on race cars.  She wasn’t at all worried about getting her hands dirty. Torri also had a passion for horses and loved listening to Country music, as well as 80’s Rock. Torri is a beautiful soul, with a wonderful sense of humor, a gorgeous smile and the warmest heart. She will be remembered and missed by all who ever knew her.

She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Betty Laing and her Grandfather, James (Jim) Becker.

Torri is survived by her long-term companion Mark Nicholes; her two children Cameron and Savannah; her parents Kimberly (Kim) Meadows and Thomas (Tom) Allen Laing; her grandparents Suzanne Weir of Boulder, Colorado and Harry Laing of St. Cloud, Minnesota; two brothers Tyler and Trevor Meadows; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 9696 Paschal Drive, Louisville, Colorado 80027. All are welcome to attend.
