In Loving Memory of Robbie Lee Tuttle
Robbie Lee Tuttle was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 18th, 1956 to Lena Kate Thompson and Robert Tuttle.
He grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended John F Kennedy Sr. High School before joining the Air Force in 1974. He often spoke fondly of his four-years stationed in Alaska.
He passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday January 28th, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. His devoted wife of five years, Katie Gleason Tuttle, his son Daniel, and his sister Carla were all by his side. He was 64 years young. Through it all Robbie always faced life with humor and wit. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Robbie is survived by his wife Katie Tuttle, his previous wife and mother of his children, Inga Tuttle, his son Daniel Gustafson Tuttle, and his daughter Anna Victoria Tuttle. Robbie and Inga lived and raised their children in Colorado Springs for over 20 years where Inga still resides. Robbie is also survived by his siblings, Alan “Butch” Wyche (Linda), Carla Wyche Taylor(Richard), his niece Monica Wyche (Dean) and their son Elrod, Alan’s Grandson. His mother’s longtime companion, George Wilder whom still resides “ down on the Bayou” in Louisiana. And last but not least his beloved cat “ Smokey.”
Robbie was an adventurous, fun soul who traveled the world for work and pleasure. He was a successful business owner of which he was very proud. His loyal employees have purchased his company, shielding Integrity services, and his legacy in his field will live on. He was a very kind and generous man beyond measure and will be missed by many. His service will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery located at 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925 on May 18th, 2021 at 2pm.
A celebration of life Gathering will be held at Robbie and Katie’s home located at 14 North 8th Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80905 on June 20th, 2021 at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude’s Children Hospital.
