Patricia Louise Romano, age 81, passed away on July 25, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on July 24, 1939 in Denver, Colorado to Louis J. Romano and Betty Roemer. She grew up in Denver and attended West High School. It wasn’t long after that she met Norman Graves on a blind date on Halloween in 1958. The two were married a year later.
Patricia spent 33 years working for US West. After later moving to Colorado Springs, where she lived the past twenty years, Patricia enjoyed participating in the Colorado Springs City Data Message Board. She loved traveling and seeing new places. She loved reading, walking, gardening, good coffee, and talking with her children, relatives, and friends. She also enjoyed working on her house. She loved her grandchildren and her new great-granddaughter.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Roemer; her father, Louis Romano; and her ex-husband, Norman Graves. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Graves; her son, Ted Graves and his wife Judy Graves; her grandchildren, Sarah Manning, Tyler Graves, and Melissa Metivier, and her great-granddaughter, Lillian Metivier; her brothers, John, Tony, and Danny Romano; and her sisters, Maryann Bloss, Kathy Roemer, and Mazie Perry.
