Norma Kay Fleener Anderson, loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Great Aunt, born on October 29th, 1936 to Keith and Violet Fleener, passed away after a long battle with cancer, peacefully and comfortably on September 18th, 2022 with family by her side.
Norma is survived by her children Trina Martucci (husband Lee), Cheryl Anderson, Paul Anderson, and sister Judy Freeman. Grandchildren Robert Anderson (wife Crystal and step daughters Neah and Maia), Brendon Anderson (fiancee Brandi), and great grandchildren Trent Anderson, Jaylin Sanders, Braydon Anderson and Brylee Anderson. Nieces Joy Rosenberger (husband Neil) and Kate Nelson (husband Tim) and nephews, Patrick Bennett (wife Allison), and Patrick Freeman (wife Kristi). Great nieces and nephews Sarah Niell, Caleb and Nathan Rosenberger, Carter and Madison Bennett, Kellen Freeman, and Riley and Keeley Nelson.
She was predeceased by sister Sandra Bennett, nephew Keith Bennett and grandson Derek Anderson.
Norma dedicated her career to teaching after receiving a degree in education from Colorado State College in Greeley. She retired from her career in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved back to her hometown of Colorado Springs to be close to her family. Norma battled and beat cancer several times over a 35 year timeframe, which highlights her incredible strength.
Graveside Services for Norma will be held October 7th at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
