In Loving Memory of Nicole Beth Nolan

Nicole Nolan passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.  She was born on August 28, 1975 in Marlborough, Massachusetts to Steve and Joyce Johnson. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas where she attended O.W. Holmes High School. After attending college at University of Texas, San Antonio and University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She went on to teach 2nd grade at James Monroe Elementary School for many years before recently changing careers to work at Semtech. Although she grew up in San Antonio, she found her home in Colorado. She met her loving wife, Alicia through Match.com and the two were married on March 3, 2018.

Nicole was passionate about so many things – music, the mountains, and especially equal rights.  She stood by her convictions and was often a force to be reckoned with.  As a cherished wife to Alicia, devoted mother to Sydney and Greyson, and good friend to so many, she loved with fierceness.  She balanced this with an offbeat (sometimes inappropriate) sense of humor and penchant for being a jokester.  She was an avid hiker and felt at peace in nature.
Nicole was loved more than she ever knew and those she left behind are devastated by her loss.

She is survived by her wife Alicia, children Sydney and Greyson, parents Steve and Joyce, and sister Stacy.

A celebration of Life Service will be held in memory of Nicole Nolan on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at 1:00pm MST at Temple Beit Torah (522 East Madison Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80907).
