Molly Bee Cope, age 49, passed away on July 20, 2019. She was born on July 6, 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska to Melvin Ransom Messerole and Laurie Louise Jones Messerole. Molly grew up in Red Oak, Iowa and graduated from Red Oak High School. After high school, she returned to Omaha where she attended Metropolitan Community College.
She eventually made her way to Colorado Springs, Colorado where this was her home for the past 10+ years. Molly worked a variety of jobs over the years, but her career and the joy of her life was being a homemaker and a mother to her two sons, Zander and Zakk. Some of her other favorite things included cooking, music, nature and of course, her love for dogs and cats. She loved us all BIG, but especially those four-legged furry critters.
Molly is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Laurie Messerole; brother, Kim Messerole; and aunts and uncles from both Messerole and Jones families.
She is survived by her two amazing sons, Zander and Zakk; brothers, Steve, Todd, Scott, Jay, and Mike Messerole; sister, Mari Baxter; and their spouses, many nieces, nephews, cousins and the many friends she has made along the way.
Molly will forever be in our hearts and missed as a mother, sister, aunt, caring friend, and a stranger to no one. Memorials in her honor can be made to your local animal shelter, animal rescue group or Humane Society.
