Mary Sarafina Ellwanger

December 15, 1938 – October 17, 2020

Mary Sarafina Ellwanger passed away peacefully on October 17,2020 in Monument, CO at the age of 81. Mary was born to Ernest J. and Alice F. Audino on December 15, 1938 in Grand Junction Colorado. Mary was born a triplet with her sisters, Margaret and Merlina.

Mary remained in Grand Junction during her youth and graduated from Grand Junction High school. Mary graduated from Roffler Academy of Hair Design and opened her own hair salon as a beautician. On August 31, 1977 Mary married Kendrick “Ken” Ellwanger. They enjoyed 13 cruises together. Mary enjoyed golf, playing cards, and slot machines.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Alice Audino; sisters, Margaret Harrison and Merlina Dean; and her son, Brian Swan. She is survived by her husband, Kendrick Ellwanger; daughter, Lisa (Jerry) Pacheco; grandson, Jacob (Ellie) Pacheco; daughter, Teri Swan; granddaughter, Tana Graybeal; grandson, Dustin (Kendra) Graybeal; Great Grandchildren, Baylee Amyx, Christian Segali, and Ryker Segali.
