In Loving Memory of Marty Gene Eastman

Marty Gene Eastman, 50, passed away on March 8, 2019, leaving behind many friends and family members who will miss him dearly.

Marty was born in Pueblo, Colorado on July 3, 1968 to Robert Dale Eastman and Ethel Elaine Eastman. He grew up in Pueblo and Canon City and attended Canon City High School. He eventually developed his skills and interests and became a jack of all trades, primarily carpentry.

A country-music-loving boy at heart, Marty’s deepest love was for his family. He leaves a lifetime of memories of everyone gathered around the table together, laughing and talking. A favorite joke among the family was to introduce him and his stepbrother, Clinton, also called Marty: “This is our brother Marty and this is our other brother Marty.” The brightest light in his life was his beautiful daughter, Misty. She was everything to him. Even though they sometimes went without seeing each other for a while, she was, still and always, the glow in his eyes.

There are many people who were blessed to know and love Marty who are left to mourn him. His daughter, Misty Eastman; his sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Stanley Goss; his brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Kathy Eastman; his brother Alan Eastman; his sister Carla Eastman; his brother Rocky Eastman; his brother and sister-in-law Gary and Christine Eastman; his stepbrother, Clinton (Marty) Rose and his wife Digna; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Marty is reunited in death with his wife, Paula; his mother, Ethel Eastman; his father, Robert Eastman; and his stepmother, Hazel Eastman.
