In Loving Memory of Kristy Atkinson
Kristy Love Atkinson, age 46, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 7, 2018 under the care of Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born February 14, 1972 to David and Judith Atkinson in Wilmington, Delaware. Kristy was raised in New Jersey until 1982 at the age of 10 she moved with her family to Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Coronado High School and then attended Pikes Peak Community College. Kristy has always had a very artistic way about her. She loved quality art work and even worked as a glassblower’s assistant in Drew Ebelhare’s Studio in Canon City for a few years. She also worked in telemarketing and sales.
Kristy shared her faith with her friends and helped encourage those around her when they were feelings down. Kristy is a compassionate, intuitive, courageous soul who brought joy and light to all those around her. Kristy would want her family and friends to rejoice as she is dancing in Heaven with her late husband Nicholas Crumb and all those who preceded her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Albert Crumb; both sets of grandparents, George & Margaret Lang and Robert & Mavis Atkinson; one sister Jennifer Young-Harvey; two aunts, Carol Atkinson-Mowers and Donna R. Atkinson; one Uncle Jimi Malone; one brother-in-law Keith Slocum; and her first fiancee Kyle G. Appleberry.
Kristy is survived by her fiancée Gregory T.
