In Loving Memory of Kirsten Kizziar
Kirsten Danielle Kizziar, age 34, passed on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, one month shy of her 35th birthday after a long battle with cancer in her home in Woodland Park, CO with her family by her side.
Kirsten, better known to family and friends as Danielle, was born May 15, 1984 in Norfolk, VA. Danielle’s boisterous personality, intelligence, and kind heart impacted many people from East to West, as Danielle loved to travel. Danielle spent the greater portion of her life residing in Virginia and Florida but in recent years relocated to Colorado. Danielle had a great love and extensive knowledge of music, reading, traveling, and her family. Her intelligence and creativity were unmatched and enjoyed by all who crossed paths with her.
On September 5, 2010, after being together since September 5, 2004 Danielle married the love of her life and best friend, Lee Kizziar whom she had two beautiful daughters with, Delilah Constance “Bean”, born February 18, 2011, and Elisabeth Ruth “Ellie”, born May 20, 2015 whom she believed to be her life’s greatest accomplishments and brought much joy.
Danielle was survived by her husband, Lee Kizziar, daughters Delilah and Elisabeth, mother Donna Ayers, brothers Robert Culbertson and John Ayers, and sister Brittany Ayers.
Danielle was loved by many and will be missed significantly. Her strength and perseverance through the years was an great example to all. Her family and friends are saddened by her early passing but find peace in the fact that she will be whole again and no longer in pain joining her loved ones in Heaven.
As per Danielle’s wishes she will have a green burial in Colorado Springs and a private memorial for immediate family will be held at Fairview cemetery Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s on Danielle’s behalf.
