Kevin Randolph Morgan,
passed away unexpectedly December 16, 2017, at the age of 30. Kevin had worked as a campus security officer at Colorado College since 2009. His friendly, outgoing nature made him a cherished presence on campus, always ready to offer help or service where he could. An avid runner and member of Jack Quinn’s Running Club, Kevin gave a hundred percent every time; that was just who he was. He loved unconditionally and lived life fully, always on the lookout for a chance to improve himself or make the experience better for everyone else, sharing what gave him joy. It wasn’t enough just to be healthy and happy; Kevin wanted to help others to feel that way, too, and worked to inspire and motivate everyone he knew, encouraging them to get up and get moving, to reach higher, to do more. Those who knew him will remember his kindness, his humor, his enthusiasm, his humility, his friendliness. They’ll live and love better, because Kevin taught them how.
He didn’t live long, but he did live well, and the lives he touched are better for it. He was one of the good guys.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Gloria Morgan (Gregerson); his father, Geary Morgan; his sisters, Kimberly and Angela Morgan, and his brothers, Geary Jr., Jason, Eric and Keith. Gone before are his grandmother, Margaret Morgan, and his grandfather, Clarence Gregerson.
A Memorial Service honoring Kevin will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Shove Chapel on the Colorado College campus, 1010 N. Nevada.
Services are under the direction of Return to Nature Funeral Home, Colorado Springs, Colorado. www.returntonaturecolorado.com
