Mrs. Judith Linda Ward, 69, passed away on December 26, 2018. She was born on February 15, 1949 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Charles and Bessie Batt, and had lived in Colorado Springs for 28 years.

Judith married her husband, Bob Ward, in September, 1969. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but was also the office manager for DW Equipment Repair and Service from 2004 to 2018. She enjoyed crafting and collecting, had a great sense of humor and cared deeply for her family, adored Elvis, rooted for the San Francisco 49ers, and was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation.

Judith is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bob Ward; her children: Ronnie and Kelli, Robbie and Amanda, Donnie and Jonna, Michael and Amy, Deanna and Heath; her grandchildren, Sierra, Daniel, Audrie, Carter, Caleb, Conner, Kaila, Michael Jr., Amber, Hannah, Paiton, Olivia, and Tori; and her great-grandchildren, Khloe and Bentley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bessie Batt, and her mother- and father-in-law, Mildred and Albert Ward.

Her family would like to extend their gratitude to the entire staff at Kindred Hospice, especially Emma Broussard with Memorial Hospital.
