In Loving Memory of Emma Jean Bugg

Jean Bugg, age 92,  passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018.  She was born to the late Oscar & Elizabeth Haney Collinsworth in Ashland, Kentucky.  Jean had 2 sisters Lena Collinsworth and Phyllis Bellew, a brother Jim Collinsworth.

   She was married to Andrew (Jack) on January 1, 1948 and they were blessed to celebrate their 70^th wedding anniversary this year.  She was a devoted mother to her four children:  Mark (Jan), Michael (Gretta), Michelle Swanson (Doug), and Marty (Linda),  an adored grandmother to Joshua, Shelley, Andy, Blake, Jessica, Kylie, Marty & Timmy and doting great-grandmother “Nanny” to Kaleigh, Nevaeh, Grace, Steven, Josie, Jedidiah, Zarek Colt & Malinda.

   Jean grew up in Ashland, KY and lived in St. Louis, Missouri and Anderson, IN before retiring to Colorado.  She was a ward clerk at Kings Daughters Medical  Center in Ashland, and owner of a ladies consignment store, the LadyBugg, in Anderson.

   Faith and family were Jean’s love and joy.  She was a devoted follower of Jesus.  She loved and delighted in children.  Jean enjoyed the mountains and wildlife of Colorado, feeding and watching the birds for hours, and designed and grew beautiful gardens.

   There will be a private graveside memorial with her immediate family at a later date.
