In Loving Memory of Darlene B. Loudenslager
Darlene B. Loudenslager, age 70, passed away on February 28, 2020 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on October 11, 1949 in Taos, New Mexico to Clorinda Morgan. She grew up in Colorado Springs and attended Palmer High School. She later met the love of her life, Michael Loudenslager, and the two were married on December 1, 1989.
Darlene was a dedicated and hard worker and it showed by her long career as the Assistant Manager of Meadows Mobile Home Park where she spent 40 years. When she wasn’t working though, she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo with family and friends as well as going out for breakfast any time of the day. She also had a great love for animals of all kinds.
Those gone before her include her mother, Clorinda Morgan; sister, Frances Orndorff; and numerous Aunts and Uncles. Darlene is survived by her husband, Michael Loudenslager; son, Melvin Klein; brothers, Freddie Madrid of Elgin, Illinois and Ray Madrid (Rose) of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Dorlinda Thomas and Bertha Stanfield of Colorado Springs; multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service to honor Darlene on Saturday, March 21st at 11:00 am, at the Cowboys for Jesus Church located at 11 North 22nd Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80904.
