Brian J. Taylor was 55 when he passed away on May 24, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born on June 29, 1963 to Charles A. Taylor and Pearl M. Taylor of Ashland, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his sister’s, Paula Mcquillen and Barbara LeClaire. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Terry Taylor, and his son’s Charles Taylor and Justin Crossen of Ashland, Ohio. Brian is survived by many siblings including brothers and sisters. His sister’s Elizabeth McElroy and Marsha Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO. His brother’s David Taylor of Rock Springs, WY. Matthew Taylor of Canal Winchester, OH. and Mike McElroy of Colorado Springs, CO. He is survived by 13 nieces and nephews.

Brian was a traditional hard-working family man that was loved by many. He placed his mark on this world one place at a time with his work in concrete. His professionalism and quality of work is what made him the renown concrete finisher he was. Brian’s excellence in work was equally matched by his ability of being an outdoorsman; he was a remarkable hunter and fisherman. He had many noteworthy contributions to society, some including his time spent training service dogs and giving to those who needed more than him. He was a great son, brother, father, and uncle to his family.

A memorial service for Brian is planning to be held in Ashland, Ohio towards the start of July. More information can be provided from the family members listed above. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Service Dog Association.
